Daily Logs

This page is a collection of my thoughts and mind maps — a place where I jot down short journal entries about what I've been working on. Think of it as a mini blog of my experiments and ideas!

Found a loophole to use Cursor without limits. Trying to build the dream website

  • 11th January 2025

Following the success of my last project, I tried building similar apps—and succeeded with quite a few! 🎉 I’ve documented some of them in blog posts, so check them out. More to come!

I’m now working on a website to check cloud cover and predict the chances of temperature inversions—so I can trek and experience heaven myself. 😌 If the web app goes public, you guys might be able to use it too! But first, I need to test the app myself.

I am trying to build the app using different AI agents with the same prompts. Found a new one called DataButton—love everything about it, except that it doesn’t let me export the project files for manual modifications (feels a bit too proprietary). In the end, Lovable AI turned out to be the best for this, and I used it to create the final version.

It’s live now! Check it out here. 🚀

Kicking off the new year with a fresh idea—I’ve started an Instagram page called Pookiemon! The plan is to post things I find interesting. I’ve already added a few posts and even told viewers I’d upload daily… but let’s be real, I know myself—I’ll probably lose interest and take random breaks. 😅 Fingers crossed, though! If I can get a proper portfolio website up and running, maybe I’ll come back to being a regular person on Instagram. The main issue? Being a graphic designer with a perfectionist mindset, I can’t settle for anything less than perfect layouts before posting on Instagram.

Still not completely satisfied with the current design, so I’m exploring alternative ideas. In the meantime, I’m experimenting with different AI coding tools—currently testing Lovable AI, v0 from Vercel, and bolt.new. These are all web-based and allow around 10-15 prompts per day, which makes progress a bit slow (thanks to daily limits, haha). Got a few ideas for projects and web apps to build with them—just need to pace things out. More updates soon!

Switched to a simpler design, thus improving the load times and reducing the time spent on graphic design as well. The current desing is live here.

Attempted to replicate a website, and I was introduced to AstroJS. The current deployment is live and can be found here. Eventually I got bored with the design and I am exploring alternate design ideas. This design is image-heavy, which negatively impacts the website’s performance. Switched to a simpler design, thus improving the load times and reducing the time spent on graphic design as well.

I’m currently updating my personal website, transitioning from NextJS to AstroJS. The site previously used the Chronark starter template, but for this update, I’m now utilizing the Vitesse theme from AstroJS. The live page is here.
